Counter-Strike Source out for Mac

Just in case you don't own it, the game is also on sale right now for under $7. I tweeted on our @TUAW account last night that this might be the last big title in the Source library for the Mac (along with Half-Life and Team Fortress 2), but many of our followers correctly pointed out that we haven't seen Left 4 Dead or its sequel released on our platform yet, so stay tuned for that. A few of you also complained that Day of Defeat hadn't been brought over to the Mac yet, and that's true as well, though I wouldn't quite consider that as "canon" as the other games. But whatever floats your boat -- the more games on our platform, the better.

Just in case you missed it yesterday, Counter-Strike is now available ... wait for it ... for the Mac. Yes, possibly the most premiere PC...

I was playing CSS on my iMac today, everything worked fine.
But the player that were playing the game for years on windows were saying that there preformance with windows had dropped and that a lot of stuff didn't work any more.
I can't confirm the windows prestation drop, because when I wanted to instal on windows with bootcamp I got the message that the servers were busy and that I had to try later. (maybe working on a update)
Does anyone know if this will run on my white Macbook (late 2007 model, 2.2 GHz, 4 GB RAM)? I looked up the specs for Mac on Steam but I don't know how the integrated graphics power (or lack thereof) on my Macbook holds up against the minimum graphics requirements (GeForce 8 or higher, or ATI X1600 or higher).

Give me DoD:S and Natural Selection 2 and all will be right with the Mac gaming world.
Hooray for natural selection 2 !! (if it ever comes out! :P)

Happy to finally see it released on the mac via Steam. This mod/game has been one of my favorites since it came out back in 99.
Shout out to all the people who played CS on dial-up and a 3dfx Voodoo 2!
Change dial-up to "LAN party where you dragged your computer across town," and that's me.
