No Comment: Inception explained for Mac users
Of course, I can't help think that maybe it would be a little more appropriate if all of the sub-level pictures were just aliases of the original pictures, since deleting them won't delete the originals. And shouldn't Eames look a little different when he's impersonating Browning in Yusuf's dream? Wait -- our heads just started hurting again. Instead, we'll just post this picture here with no extra comment.

Confused by the summer's biggest blockbuster and its multiple dream levels? Wishing Christopher Nolan had used some sort of OS X-related...

I found a bunch of cheap vacation packages for the places in inception!

Not quite as cool as inception.c:

You should've put a spoiler alert for RSS users who haven't watched the movie.

(It probably goes without saying, but you shouldn't follow that link unless you've seen the movie already. -Ed)
For tomorrow's Christopher Nolan review, someone will explain Memento using Time Machine.
August 24 2010 at 10:40 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyWatching that movie was like being on a date with someone who won't stop talking about themself.

August 24 2010 at 10:03 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyOn a somewhat off-topic note: Does anyone else hate how difficult they made it to unmount the 'WD SmartWare' virtual drive? It used to bug the crap out of me, but I finally got it off.
August 24 2010 at 9:49 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down Replyyes! how did you get rid of it? Do i have to completely reformat the drive? (I am using it as a Time Machine backup and don't want to lose all of that data)
August 24 2010 at 8:08 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyYou have to have the latest firmware, 1.2.2.5 is what I have. To get it, launch WD SmartWare and there is an 'Update Software' button on the bottom right. After you follow those steps, which includes disconnecting and restarting the drive, launch the WD SmartWare again and choose the 'settings' tab. Click on the 'My Book Essential' or whichever drive you have and then on the 'Virtual CD' button. There, you can select 'Disable VCD'. Once you do that, you just have to 'eject' the virtual CD and it will be gone for good. If you ever need it, you can enable it again, but the software will be installed on your computer, so there is really no need for it.
August 24 2010 at 10:27 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyWas Inception so complex that it needs all these explanations? I'm usually the guy who misses obvious cues & can't see the twist coming, and even I found it pretty easy to follow.
August 24 2010 at 9:45 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyOf course not, but it's fun to think about.
