Last day for Bodega half-off sales on Mac apps

Update: If it wasn't clear originally -- you have to download the Bodega client first, and purchase the apps through its store. Some readers were confused by the link to the 1Password site, which was for illustration purposes only -- the discount on the Mac client is specific to Bodega.
Today's the last day to grab some deals from Bodega. The would-be app store for Mac OS X software is offering a 50 percent discount on the following applications through the end of the day:
- 1Password ($19.97)
- Sandvox ($28.50)
- Cockpit ($12.49)
- MoneyWell ($24.99)
- Clean My Mac ($14.97)
- Brush Pilot ($7.50)
- Mac DVDRIpper Pro ($4.97)
- My Living Desktop ($17.47)
To take advantage of the sale, you need to purchase the software through Bodega, which is a free download.

Just a word of warning -- since the company behind Bodega is a Canadian company, my U.S. credit card was charged a "foreign transaction fee" of 3%. For the $19.97 USD price of 1Password, it came to $0.59 USD. Most but not all credit card companies have this fee.
So it was slightly annoying but still a great price for 1Password.
Just wanted to point out that it's REALLY annoying that those links in the list go to a page listing posts with that tag rather than the apps site. A lot of the big blogs do it now with keywords and it makes for a really bad user experience

"Welcome! We love Bodega and want to share the love by giving all Bodega users a 15% discount!
Select the items you wish to purchase and they will automatically be discounted by 15%!".
Now earlier I stated the $5 coupon code of Bodega. Do you think I could get both?
When I click Buy Now in Bodega, it opens the agilewebsolutions website, but eeven after I put it in the cart, it still says 39.95. If I type Bodega into the coupon code, it gives 5 dollars off for bodega users. But 5 isnt 15...What am I doing wrong?

August 28 2010 at 12:06 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyAny thoughts on Mac DVDRipper Pro's ability to backup DVDs with newer encryption algorithms?
August 27 2010 at 4:34 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI ran into something that MTR wasn't able to crack (RipGuard?), but RipIt got through it w/o problem.
I was expecting my copy of a James Cameron movie with blue aliens to have the latest/greatest copy protection, but RipIt got through that as well.
FYI - just wait for me to pay full price on something and you will be able to get it 50% in a week.. *shakes fist at 1P*.. it's easily worth 40 though. really. no brainer @20.
That was my exact concern...I had some home movies from Pandora that I couldn't seem to get onto my computer for safe keeping. Thanks for the tip.

August 27 2010 at 4:11 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyThe sale is for OS X too!! Add it to you're cart and you will see the discount!
August 27 2010 at 2:57 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyYeah, sadly the 1password sale is windows only. Kind of sucks I was about to buy a couple keys for family members.
August 27 2010 at 2:43 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyYou may want to correct that, it seems the 1 Password App is for Windows not Mac.
