Not in Japan. This country is just so backward when it comes to innovation in business practices. Apple must be so frustrated here (in Japan).

I'd much prefer if they had given us some the unsigned new bands from the iTunes festival instead or skip the music and give us some up to date tv shows. Hey iTunes how about putting together a shorts film festival (students only) via an app and let us vote for the winner!!

And to answer your question, the show ran between 1995-1997, with Dermot Morgan unfortunately dying not long after it ended the third series. Irish people are quite proud of that show! And still laugh at it frequently (it's got that Only Fools & Horses kind of timelessness). The quality of Irish sitcoms hasn't even come close subsequently.
The Irish App has given me Duran Duran and The Script so far - two bands I can't abide, and a game - something to do with portals, which was basically a version of Where's Wally while trying to clean someone's house, which, out of pure boredom, I completed in one sitting and subsequently deleted from my phone. So something of quality would be really appreciated!
As for the "bug" in the phone not allowing you to download apps from outside your jurisdiction - that isn't a bug. It's to do with licensing laws, and is kinda clutching at straws when it comes to finding a reason to complain about something. If there was the same app store for everyone, then why go to the trouble of dividing it for every country?

Again... have a Swiss iTunes account but the App downloaded from there is showing *only* the UK iTunes offers and not the valid Swiss offers as you would expect; the App is wrongly looking at language locale and choosing the iTunes store based on this... I'm not complaining about the free offers but that the App is wrongly programmed and I am sure other more international readers will be experiencing the same...
duh, thanks Apple. Seems to me this app is just an excuse to spam me with ads of artists i don't care about. If Apple really means to give me a present, why not just do me a $10 gift certificate so i can get myself something i really want?
App removed from phone...
"If you are using Google Chrome and unable to access the free downloads, please try another web browser." Owch! Chrome is DA BOMB!

The 12 days of Christmas are *after* Christmas, leading up to Epiphany/Three Kings day on January 6.

Well, yet again the App is buggy. I'm in Switzerland but on my iPhone (as I don't want a mix of German/English I have the locale/language setting set to the UK and the '12 Days' App has some dud logic that then presents offers from the UK - that I can't download ... It was the same mess last year too. So many thanx for the web site link to go straight to the Swiss links - that works!
