The Tivizen, over-the-air TV antenna, coming to iPad

The Tivizen is priced at US$99, which puts it in line with something like the EyeTV. Hopefully not for too long, though -- the device requires its own battery, which only lasts a couple of hours. If you've been looking for a way to watch a broadcast show you can't otherwise see, specifically on your iPad, the Tivizen might be just what you're looking for. Odds are there's some other way to watch that video on Apple's tablet, no?

that thing is going to need a nice little power plug adapter that allows devices to be connected to it and keeps this sucker powered. Does that exist yet?

Since its digital there are a lot of new business that can be delivered over the signal besides the TV show.
Hmm. I don't have a television and thus no cable/satellite/radar/infrared whatever. I would be interested in this is if I could watch NFL and MLB games that are otherwise unavailable or blacked out. J-E-T-S on my i-P-A-D.

January 05 2011 at 9:11 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyWhy would it matter? This device doesn't use WiFi or 3G. It's basically a TV antenna attached to your iPad.

I know that. I am saying its great except I would rather use SingBox instead of this since I have 3G.
I wonder if Elgato will ever come out with a product like this, since they make tv tuners for mac and have ipad/iphone apps
