Mac OS X 10.6.7 supplemental update for 13" MacBook Air

Apple has released a "supplemental update" to OS X version 10.6.7 specifically for the 13" MacBook Air model released late last year. The update reportedly fixes an issue that made the devices "unresponsive when using iTunes," and it clocks in at a tiny 461 KB.
As always, the updates are available via Software Update, so if you've got a newish MacBook Air, load up the app and check to see if you need to install it. Afterwards, you'll be able to use iTunes without issue among other fixes.

That was fast! Took me forever to figure out iTunes was the culprit because I had Parallels running and I thought for SURE it was that. Only time I realized it was when I ONLY had iTunes on and was using my iPad mostly.
The previous 'fix' was to restart, shut down immediately without opening iTunes and reboot again. Glad Apple fixed it quickly.
Wooo, time to migrate my iTunes library to the lovely new Mac Mini (minecraft server)!
So I accidentally installed this on my MBA 11" (downloaded directly from the Apple Website)...Bad thing to do? I haven't noticed any ill effects so far.

I didn't even bother to try it.
I had this issue in particular but as it happened the moment after I'd reformatted my Air and updated everything to 10.6.7, I thought some corruption had happened to my music library from my backup. I was going totally crazy trying to fix it. Glad it wasn't me!

Do I need an update or is this normal?
