HTML5 game running on Apple TV

The Apple TV 2 could become a new platform for playing HTML5-based games and applications. A hacker installed the Couch Surfer browser on a jailbroken Apple TV and used it to play an HTML5 version of BlackJack. The game is rudimentary, but it's a sign that the Apple TV is capable of more than just TV shows and movies.

Come on guys "but it's a sign that the Apple TV is capable of more than just TV shows and movies." this has been well know for years now. That little box has a lot of capability in it which is why some of us would like to see Apple open up development on it.

So if they were to release a new version of Apple TV this year, when would it be? September?

Personally, I think being able to install and run XBMC is a FAAAAAAR better and more impressive example of things you can do with the Apple TV, but that's just my opinion.
