Apple starts selling Lion USB sticks
As promised, Apple has begun selling Mac OS X Lion on flash USB sticks in its retail stores. The US$69 drives (seventy dollars?!) contain a full install of the operating system and look much like the recovery drives that ship with MacBook Airs.
You can use the little doohickey to install Lion (or reinstall it), attempt a repair with Disk Utility or run Time Machine. They're not yet available online, so stop by your local Apple Store to buy one. Happy recovery!

I just paid $22.87 for an iPad2-64GB and my girlfriend loves her Panasonic Lumix GF 1 Camera that we got for $38.76 there arriving tomorrow by UPS. I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 40 inch LED TV to my boss for $675 which only cost me $62.81 to buy. Here is the website we use to get it all from, BidsGet.com

"Users who do not have broadband access at home, work or school can download Lion at Apple retail stores and later this August, Lion will be made available on a USB thumb drive through the Apple Store® "

It's only the recovery disk? That kind of is sad, but that means you still need an internet connection.
Also, am I the only one who doesn't think $69 is too terrible? I mean, it's more than it needs to be but you're paying $40 for the physical product. Which is way too much for a small flash drive, but you're also paying for all the extra cost of that over the MAS. Obviously, Apple isn't expecting people to pay $69 and $29.
Pretty sure they said it's the full install. Apple has a free utility that creates a Lion recovery disk with your own 1GB USB stick.
