Easy Calendar for iPhone works great and is free today
I use iCal on my Mac and the iOS calendars from Apple quite a bit. I would never have even thought about using a 3rd party app on my iPhone, but Easy Calendar has changed my mind.
It's the 'easy' part that I like the most. Using it reduces the taps to create events, from 6 to about 3. Events can be edited with 2 taps, and navigating to different days or weeks is also easier than the stock iPhone calendar.
The app syncs with MobileMe, Outlook, Google Calendar and other CalDAV apps. Alarms are supported, and it is multi-lingual in Spanish, German, French and Dutch.
Easy Calendar is usually US $3.99, but the price has varied a bit over the months with sales. Of course free is the best price of all, so if you want to try it, grab it today and see if it makes keeping up with events and appointments a bit easier. Here's a video if you want to see how it works.

Yep, the sale ended at midnight EDT! So CDT, MDT, and PDT were ignored. I would have at least tried the app but after seeing that free doesn't really mean free unless you live in a particular time zone turned me off.
Sometimes I would just like to sit down with a dev and just tell them how they are NOT customer centered and they need to be. Good bye Easy Calendar!!
Hi, I would agree with you if it was true. I can guarantee you the app was configured to be free for the whole 24 hours globally.
Unfortunately however the App Store had trouble with updating prices during a few hours that day. We immediately contacted Apple and are sorry for the people that were disappointed on the 22nd.
With kind regards, Jos Jong - Easy Calendar
I love how he wastes a few seconds scrolling through the iPhone calendar before hitting "+". Yeah that's fair.

Besides, the sale ended by 1000 pm CDT while it's still 9/22, even though the app's description says it's free on 9/22. It's inconsistencies like this that make me wary of putting too much trust in third party apps. For fun it's okay.

September 22 2011 at 8:15 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyWhat I want is a Calendar that will allow me to have a shared calendar with my wife but still let each of us maintain our own calendars that don't share alarms. I don't need to see hers and she doesn't need to see mine, but we want the ones on the shared calendar. Anything fit this bill?
