Apple Store now selling Lightning to HDMI and VGA adapters for $49 each

As announced during yesterday's Apple product announcement event, the company is now selling Lightning to HDMI and VGA adapters in the online Apple Store.

The Lightning Digital AV Adapter (seen above) sells for US$49 and features an HDMI port as well as what appears to be a Lightning pass-through. It's compatible with all Lightning devices: the iPad mini, the fourth-generation iPad, the iPhone 5, and the fifth-generation iPod touch.

Also arriving at the same price point of $49 is the Lightning VGA Adapter (below). For use with PC projectors and other VGA-compatible devices, the adapter supports up to 720p output and also has a Lightning pass-through in addition to a standard VGA connector.
