iPod Shuffle’s First Third-Party Case Released

It was only a matter of time before Speck Products introduced the inaugural third-party case for the iPod shuffle, named the SkinTight. Promoted as offering “protection without the bulk,” this case is crafted from a durable, shock-absorbent plastic that resists tearing.

Its split design allows for easy removal of the sync/charge cap, facilitating hassle-free syncing and charging.

The SkinTight is set to be available in February, priced at $19.95 individually or $29.95 for a set of three. It might be wise for them to consider offering a 24-pack option as well.

Indeed, the design is quite reminiscent of a finger condom.

There’s no update yet on the potential release of a Nikki Sixx SkinTight Leather version, but we’re keeping an eye out for any developments.
