By utilizing certain keyboard shortcuts, you can alter how the application captures photos.

Pressing the shift key while clicking the take picture button will snap a photo without triggering the flash. Alternatively, pressing the option key while taking a photo bypasses the countdown delay.

For an instant photo without flash, press both the shift and option keys simultaneously when you capture the image.
