Developers Receive New Xcode 4.4 and Safari 5.2 Updates

On Wednesday, alongside the latest preview of OS X Mountain Lion, developers were also treated to updated versions of Xcode 4.4 and Safari 5.2.

According to AppleInsider, the new Xcode 4.4 includes enhancements to Objective-C language capabilities, better support for the 2011 C++ standard, among other improvements.

The updated Safari 5.2 features a new scalable vector graphic filter, enhanced web inspector, HTML5 media controller, and additional refinements.

Developers can access all these previews via the Apple’s Developer Center, where full release notes are also provided.
