CUPERTINO, California-June 18, 2014-Apple® today unveiled a new 21.5-inch iMac® starting at just $1,099. This model enhances the all-in-one desktop market with its sleek design, brilliant display, and powerful processors.

It’s an ideal Mac® desktop for entry-level users.

The newly introduced 21.5-inch iMac features a 1.4 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor, capable of Turbo Boost speeds up to 2.7 GHz, Intel HD 5000 graphics, 8GB of memory, and a 500GB hard drive. All iMac models come with the latest 802.11ac Wi-Fi, two Thunderbolt ports, and four USB 3.0 ports, supporting a wide range of peripherals and offering great expandability.

Every new Mac includes iLife® and iWork® at no additional cost. iLife allows users to edit videos in iMovie®, create music or learn instruments with GarageBand®, and manage and share photos with iPhoto®. The iWork suite of productivity apps, which includes Pages®, Numbers®, and Keynote®, makes it easy to create and share beautiful documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
