Today seems to be a day of updates at Apple. Just after I finished upgrading my iPhone 6 Plus to iOS 8.1.1, I was greeted by a red notification badge on the Mac App Store.

It turned out to be the release of OS X Yosemite 10.10.1, which I had been testing in its developer beta form for several days.

OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 Update Now Available

The update details indicate enhancements in Wi-Fi and mail reliability with certain email providers and Microsoft Exchange servers. Additionally, it enhances the reliability of Back to My Mac remote connections.
