Apple has introduced a major upgrade to its Maps app in the United States, allowing users to find Michelin-rated restaurants and hotels directly within the platform. The update, launched on May 14, gives users access to expert food rankings and exclusive booking options.
Whether you’re planning a night out or just craving something special, Apple Maps now helps you explore the best in fine dining with just a few taps.

Discover Michelin-Starred Dining Near You
With the new feature, Apple Maps users can search for restaurants that hold prestigious Michelin Stars, Green Stars, or Bib Gourmand ratings. These badges represent top-tier quality in dining, sustainability, and value.
Users will also see detailed reviews, photos, and summaries from Michelin experts right inside the app. You can even make reservations directly through Michelin without leaving Maps.
Hotels and Golf Tee Times Also Included
The update doesn’t stop at food. Select Michelin Key hotels will now appear with enriched listings, allowing users to view more information and, in some cases, book stays through the app.
Apple is also planning to roll out golf tee time booking soon through a partnership with Supreme Golf. This will make it easier for golfers to find and reserve spots at popular courses.
More Expert Reviews on the Way
Apple Maps will soon add content from other expert sources like The Infatuation and Golf Digest. These additions aim to create a more well-rounded experience for users seeking high-quality recommendations.
This Maps update aligns with Apple’s broader push into food culture. The company recently announced a new Apple TV+ documentary titled Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars, executive produced by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.
Available Now in the U.S., More Countries to Follow
For now, the Michelin review integration is only available in the United States. However, Apple has plans to expand the feature to other regions in the near future.
Whether you’re a foodie or a frequent traveler, Apple Maps is becoming more than just a navigation tool—it’s your gateway to discovering the best places to eat, stay, and play.
