Apple Music has officially turned 10, and to mark the occasion, the tech giant has opened a new state-of-the-art studio in Los Angeles. This new space isn’t just a celebration—it’s a clear sign of Apple’s continued investment in music and creative talent.
Launched on June 30, 2015, Apple Music has grown far beyond its initial offering. Over the years, it introduced features like Spatial Audio and Apple Music Classical. Now, Apple takes a bold step forward by unveiling a 15,000-square-foot, three-story complex built to serve artists and storytellers.

A Studio Built for Artists
Located in Los Angeles, the new Apple Music facility includes two radio studios, a Spatial Audio mixing room, a photo and social media lab, and multiple isolation booths. These booths support podcasters, songwriters, and interviews. The building also features a large soundstage for live events and multicam shoots, alongside editing and green rooms.
Apple Music’s Rachel Newman described the studio as “a space for bold conversations and surprising moments.” The design includes corridors lined with images from the service’s first decade, linking Apple’s past to its creative future.
Expanding the Creative Network
This Los Angeles location joins Apple Music’s global network, which already includes studios in New York, Nashville, Paris, and Berlin. Apple says more hubs are on the way, further reinforcing its role in global music culture.
Zane Lowe, Apple Music’s creative lead, said the platform has grown into “a place where music comes first, always.” He emphasized the studio’s importance in connecting artists to fans through both live and recorded storytelling.
Looking Ahead
Though the exact address remains undisclosed, Apple’s move shows its growing footprint in content creation, not just distribution. As music evolves, so does Apple Music—with a decade behind it and a new creative hub to shape its future.
