Apple TV+ is celebrating a major milestone as its hit workplace thriller Severance secured the most nominations for the 77th Emmy Awards. The show received 27 nods, including prestigious categories like Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Lead Actor for Adam Scott, and Outstanding Lead Actress for Britt Lower.

The nominations cement Severance as a powerhouse for Apple’s streaming platform, continuing its rise in the competitive world of prestige television.

Strong Competition in Comedy and Drama

Apple TV+ dominated other categories too. The Studio, a popular comedy featuring Seth Rogen, earned 23 nominations, tying with HBO’s The White Lotus for third place overall. Rogen is up for three awards, including Outstanding Writing and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.

In the drama category, other Apple shows like Slow Horses received five nominations, while Presumed Innocent earned four. Limited series such as Disclaimer and Pachinko also picked up key technical and acting nods.

Big Names Fill Guest Roles

The competition is stacked with star power. The category for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series features Bryan Cranston, Ron Howard, Dave Franco, Anthony Mackie, and even Martin Scorsese—all appearing in The Studio. Jon Bernthal, from FX’s The Bear, is the only non-Apple contender in that lineup.
