Apple has revealed a massive mural dedicated to its hit series Severance at its long-standing advertising space in Los Angeles’ Melrose Mural Alley. The new art, unveiled on August 7, 2025, highlights the show’s cultural impact while promoting its highly anticipated third season.

The mural features dramatic visuals alongside a playful caption: “The Exalted Victory of Cold Harbor has escaped the severed floor. Selfie accordingly.” Actor Adam Scott, who stars as Mark Scott in the series, was spotted taking selfies with the mural, further boosting fan excitement.

A Landmark Location for Apple

This spot at 7769 Melrose Avenue has become Apple’s go-to wall for high-profile promotions. The company has leased the space since 2021, using it for everything from Billie Eilish’s Apple TV+ documentary to iPhone campaigns.

Over the years, the wall has hosted a variety of Apple-themed murals:

  • 2021: The World’s a Little Blurry documentary.
  • 2022: An AirPods mural inspired by Apple’s iconic “Silhouette” campaign.
  • 2023: A bright yellow iPhone 14 promotion.
  • 2024: An iPhone 15 campaign.

Before Apple took over, the wall was used by brands like Starz, Califa Farms, Delta, and T-Mobile. Today, it remains one of Apple’s most visible creative advertising tools in Los Angeles.

Severance Continues Its Rise

The new mural underscores Apple’s confidence in Severance, one of its most successful Apple TV+ series. The show recently secured a renewal for season three, and reports suggest a possible spin-off may also be in development.

By blending art, culture, and promotion, Apple’s latest mural keeps the buzz alive for both the series and the streaming platform. Fans in Los Angeles can catch the mural in person, but for many, it’s yet another reminder of how Severance has left its mark well beyond the screen.
