Apple’s “F1: The Movie” has crossed $600 million worldwide, marking the company’s most successful film release. Directed by Joseph Kosinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, the film stars Brad Pitt in a high-speed story that continues to attract audiences.
By Sunday, global revenue hit $603.4 million, placing it just behind “Superman,” which earned $604.5 million. This comes only weeks after the film surpassed $500 million in July, showing strong staying power in a competitive summer season.

Global Momentum
International markets have fueled the movie’s rise. China led with $59.2 million, followed by Korea with $35.2 million, France with $30 million, the UK with $29.7 million, and Mexico with $19.9 million. Premium screenings also boosted earnings, with IMAX alone contributing $94.4 million.
This record also marks Brad Pitt’s most successful release, with the film becoming his highest-grossing performance in China.
Next Stop: Streaming
Despite continued earnings, weekly revenue has begun to dip. The latest week saw a 37% drop, with $6.1 million collected. However, Apple is preparing the next phase through digital distribution.
“F1: The Movie” is now available for purchase at $25 or rental at $20 via Apple’s TV app Store. Prices are expected to fall once the film lands on Apple TV+. A streaming release date has not yet been confirmed.
Apple’s Biggest Film Win
For Apple, this is more than a financial victory. It shows that Apple Original Films can compete with major studios on a global scale.
With star power, international demand, and smart distribution, “F1: The Movie” has set a new benchmark for Apple’s ambitions in Hollywood.
