Electronic Arts will bring two nearly 20-year-old Sims spin-offs—MySims and MySims Kingdom—to Apple Arcade next month. The release targets fans who enjoy cozy, pick-up-and-play sessions.
Originally launched in 2007, MySims swaps the franchise’s life-management systems for building, decorating, and helping townsfolk with creative tasks.
Meanwhile, the 2008 sequel, MySims Kingdom, adds a story-driven quest to rebuild King Roland’s lands through puzzles and construction challenges.
What’s New for Apple Arcade
Both titles arrive on Apple Arcade on November 6, giving subscribers full access with no ads or in-app purchases.
Moreover, Apple Arcade costs $6.99 per month and also comes bundled with all Apple One plans.
For players who prefer other platforms, EA still offers the games on PC via the EA app, Epic Games Store, and Steam, as well as on Nintendo’s eShop.
Notably, both games were re-released on the Nintendo Switch in 2024, so this mobile launch extends their modern comeback.

Why It Matters
For longtime fans, the ports deliver easy-going creativity without complex micromanagement. Consequently, families and casual players get accessible gameplay, quick sessions, and bright visuals.
At the same time, Apple gains another nostalgic duo that strengthens its catalog of friendly, no-friction titles.
Furthermore, the move signals EA’s interest in resurfacing legacy franchises where creativity—rather than difficulty—drives engagement.
As a result, MySims and MySims Kingdom could attract both returning fans and new builders who want low-stress fun on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV.
