Apple continues to hit major revenue targets – now solidifying its position as one of the world’s most valuable companies with a $4 trillion market capital. It was not along ago that the company hit $1 trillion under the leadership of Tim Cook, who continues to be the CEO. Since then, the growth of the company has not stagnated except for some minor slowdowns.

The one major success attributed to Cook’s tenure as CEO is having scaled the company’s to all new heights. His leadership is quite different compared to Steve Jobs’ which was heavily product oriented. Cook is known as the maestro of operations and supply chain; a man who knows how to negotiate trade deals, ensure supply chains are efficient and cost-effective.

It is no surprise that Cook has enabled the company to continuously exceed market expectations. The iPhone maker reported a whopping $102.5 billion in revenue in Q4 2025 earnings with an EPS of $1.85 (for the market nerds). The strong revenue figures are attributed to the continued success of Apple’s services (i.e., Music, TV, App Store, iCloud, etc.) and latest iPhone sales.

While the iPhone 17 is not dramatically different than the previous generations, it brings some cool new designs that have got people clamouring to shop and show-off their new purchases. It is a big move for the company from last year’s lacklustre year due to failed AI / Apple Intelligence features. The company backtracked and channeled 2025 to be all about hardware and design – it has worked.

Apple devices are known for their strong industrial designs which are timeless. The iPhone 17 is a reminder of that, coupled with the company’s promise on quality – Apple hardware is hot cakes. It is also worth highlighting that the company’s hardware division is doing so well, that the company’s software is struggling to keep pace – e.g., the iPad has been such a powerful device since 2018 but the software continues to be limited in terms of utilising the power.

Fun fact: Apple’s SVP of Hardware Engineering John Ternus is being touted (by the rumour mill) as a likely candidate for the CEO position.
