Apple has expanded the Apple Sports app to 20 more European countries. The update marks one of the biggest steps in the app’s global rollout. Fans across the continent can now check scores, follow teams, and view match details with faster access than before.

The app was already available in the U.S., the U.K., Canada, and several major European markets. Now, many more users can experience real-time sports information without relying on third-party websites.

New Regions Gain Access

The latest update adds support for Belgium, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, and Ukraine.

Previously, only Austria, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, and Spain had access. With this change, almost all of Europe can follow local leagues and global tournaments through Apple’s dedicated sports platform.

More Leagues and Better Tracking

Apple Sports includes live coverage for leagues such as the EFL Championship, Bundesliga 2, Ligue 2, Segunda Division, Serie B, MLS, MLB, NFL, and NASCAR. Users can select their favorite teams, making it easier to see updates at a glance.

Because the app focuses on real-time information, fans can follow matches without delays. It also offers clear match summaries, standings, and upcoming schedules.

Recent Improvements Enhance the Experience

Apple recently added Live Activities for NFL games and improved widget features. These updates help users check scores from the Lock Screen or Home Screen without opening the app. As Apple continues to update the service, more sports and features may arrive in future releases.
