Apple TV+ Scores 12 Actor Award Nods, Led by The Studio

Apple TV+ has secured a major awards achievement after earning 12 nominations at the 32nd Actor Awards, marking its strongest showing yet at the ceremony.The streaming platform edged past its own 2025 record, signaling growing industry recognition for its original programming.

At the center of this success is the comedy series The Studio, which leads all shows this year with five nominations. The series has quickly become a standout for Apple TV+, both with audiences and critics.

The Studio Dominates the Comedy Categories

The Studio received nominations across several top comedy categories. These include Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series for Seth Rogen and Ike Barinholtz, along with nods for Kathryn Hahn and Catherine O’Hara in the female actor category. In addition, the show earned recognition for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.

Because of its sharp writing and strong cast chemistry, the series now stands as Apple TV+’s most decorated comedy at the Actor Awards to date.

Drama Series Also Gain Recognition

Beyond comedy, Apple TV+ made a solid impact in the drama categories. Slow Horses earned a nomination for Gary Oldman, while The Morning Show received a nod for Billy Crudup in the male drama category.

Meanwhile, Severance continued its awards momentum. Britt Lower earned a nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series. The show also secured an ensemble nomination, reinforcing its status as a flagship Apple TV+ drama.

Film Recognition and a Special Honor

Apple TV+ also entered the film categories with F1: The Movie, which earned a nomination for Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble. While it marked the platform’s only film nod, it highlighted Apple’s expanding reach beyond television.

In addition, the ceremony will honor Harrison Ford with a lifetime achievement award. Ford currently stars in Apple TV+’s comedy Shrinking, making the recognition especially meaningful for the platform.

Looking Ahead to the 2026 Ceremony

The 32nd Actor Awards, formerly known as the SAG Awards, will stream live on Netflix on March 1, 2026. With 12 nominations across genres, Apple TV+ enters the ceremony as one of the most prominent players in the television awards race this year.
