Apple has started 2026 with fresh momentum in Hollywood. The company secured seven nominations at the Producers Guild Awards, signaling strong industry support for its growing slate of films and series. The nominations span six major categories and feature seven different Apple-backed projects, showing both range and consistency across genres.
Notably, each nominated title earned a single nomination. This spread highlights Apple’s broad creative footprint rather than reliance on one standout hit.

“F1” Leads Apple’s Film Push
The motorsport drama F1 anchors Apple’s film nominations. It competes for the Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures. The film, which stars Brad Pitt, has drawn attention for its large-scale production and real-world racing access, factors that often resonate with producers’ groups.
Meanwhile, The Gorge earned a nod in the category for Outstanding Producer of Televised or Streamed Motion Pictures, reinforcing Apple’s steady presence in premium streaming films.
Strong Showing in Television Categories
On the television side, The Studio received a nomination for Outstanding Producer of Episodic Television – Comedy. In drama, Pluribus and Severance will compete head-to-head in the same category, underscoring Apple’s strength in serialized storytelling.
Apple also earned recognition in nonfiction and children’s programming. Mr. Scorsese landed a nonfiction nomination, while Snoopy Presents: A Summer Musical represented Apple in the children’s category.
What Comes Next for Apple TV+
The Producers Guild Awards winners will be announced on February 28 in Los Angeles. These nominations arrive shortly after Apple TV+ earned 12 nods at the SAG-AFTRA Actor Awards, where The Studio led with five mentions.
Together, these results suggest Apple is no longer an outsider in awards season. Instead, it has become a consistent and competitive force across film and television.
