Apple Arcade will expand its catalog in March 2026 with a major new original title. The service will debut Oceanhorn 3: Legend of the Shadow Sea on March 5, marking one of its biggest releases this year. According to Apple’s announcement, the game continues the long-running adventure series and pushes it into a new era.
The new entry takes place nearly 1,000 years after the events of the previous title. Players will explore a large world that balances discovery, puzzle-solving, and intense boss battles. The story centers on a civilization facing rebirth, which adds emotional weight to the action. Because the game supports iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro, players can jump in across Apple’s ecosystem.

Three New Family-Friendly Additions
In addition to Oceanhorn 3, Apple Arcade will welcome three popular App Store titles without ads or in-app purchases. These additions arrive the same day and broaden the service’s appeal.
Pocket Love!+ offers a life simulation focused on decorating a shared home with a partner and pet. Meanwhile, Flow Free+ delivers its familiar color-connecting puzzles in a polished format. The third title, Doraemon Dorayaki Shop Story+, lets players run a sweets shop alongside the iconic character Doraemon. Together, these releases emphasize relaxed, family-friendly gameplay.
Themed Updates Keep Games Fresh
Apple Arcade will also refresh existing titles with crossover events. On February 19, Disney SpellStruck will introduce a Star Wars: A New Hope event. Players can use Luke, Leia, Han, and Chewbacca as playable characters. Earlier, a Paddington-themed event in Crayola Create and Play+ highlighted Apple’s focus on rotating licensed content.
Sports fans will see updates as well. NFL Retro Bowl ’26 adds a Super Bowl LX challenge mode featuring the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots. Players can access the mode directly through the Apple Games app, which strengthens integration across Apple’s gaming platform.
Strengthening the Arcade Strategy
Apple continues to grow Arcade with platform-wide releases and recognizable brands. The March lineup blends original storytelling with casual favorites and licensed events. As a result, the service aims to attract both dedicated gamers and families.
By avoiding ads and microtransactions, Apple Arcade reinforces its premium identity. With Oceanhorn 3 leading the charge, March 2026 may become one of its strongest months yet.
