Apple has surprised many users by keeping its entire iOS 26 device lineup eligible for iOS 27. The announcement came during the company’s WWDC 2026 keynote, where Apple confirmed that no iPhone models would lose support with the latest operating system update.

Five Generations of iPhones Remain Supported
According to Apple’s compatibility list, iOS 27 supports every iPhone from the iPhone 11 series onward. The update also includes later generations of the iPhone SE, along with the latest iPhone 17 lineup.
