Apple announcing Q4 2005 financial results today
At 5pm ET today, after the market closes, Apple will announce their fourth quarter earnings for 2005 during their traditional industry analyst conference call. You can listen along to the audio webcast with Quicktime 6 or later, subscribe to Apple's Earnings Podcasts, and of course you should check back here for a post-call summary.Apple is expected to report record-breaking profit, thanks to the continued and spectacular sales of the iPod product lines and increases in desktop and portable computer sales fueled by back-to-school sales. Analysts forecasts and predictions have earnings as high as $0.37 a share with revenue of $3.7 billion. Not too shabby at all.

It just so happens I just wrote about this on my blog ... (The At Large Blog, for anybody who's interested.) My question: With $1 billion in profits, can't they afford to send me a free iPod? I'll even take one of the little ones.
