While I was watching the iSale 3 demo I couldn't help but think, 'This is Delicious Library for eBay auctions.' This application allows you to list items on eBay, preview what it will look like, and track the status and the bids on your current auctions in real time. There is also a Dashboard Widget that lists your auctions in case you don't want to have the app open all the time.
It costs $39.95.

This program looks very beautiful, but it's pretty expensive. I guess only serious eBay sellers will buy the program.

It looks nice, but is it necessary? Will it lead to lower auctions costs or higher bids?

Well, it's nice to access your auctions locally, and while you draft them, they are safer than a web form.
However, it did not import my iSale 2.x auctions.

It's safe to say they were definitely inspired by DL.

It's not expensive at all. I pay nearly double that annually for eLister. If this does all it says it does I may have to change programs.

GarageSale is very similar but looks better. They are both at Macworld, first year for GarageSale which will ship soon. iSale was here last year.

Well, I just got the 3.0 upgrade and there is a major bug in it. The FTP interface doesn't work. The customer service of iSale is horrible. No email was sent to notify that there wasn't anything wrong with the version. I called the toll-free number several times and it wasn't working. When I finally got throught they told me that the upgrade had a bug in it and an update would probably be sent this week.
For my money I would recommend MarketBlast.

Since my last comment about iSale they have greatly improved their product with the fixes they have made. I also found out that they provide support through AIM. They have been very helpful. So given my new experiences with iSale I'm now a huge fan. iSale is reasonably priced, easy to use and a great deal. Where it might not bring down the cost of an auction, I do think that it brings up the bids because it gives your items a professional look. In addition, it saves me time, which in my book is as good as money.
