The Woz's business card

Remember when the Woz was on the Colbert Report, and he talked about cutting his steak with his business card? Well, above you can see a close up of the card (a much larger version here). Luckow Design is responsible for this cool card (they also designed some websites for the Woz).

Thanks, Flash in the Pan.

these cards are made of paper, but they are anti-conventional too:

Poor identity (we've passed on the nike swoosh for close to a decade now) and poor, old school web development with no understanding of standards. Not up to Apple design by far.

what a bunch of crap! I have the plastic cards from plasmadesign and love them! the metal cards they have loo just like the ones that luckow is pimping. I think luckow is a liar! hey may have designed the logo but plasma design definetly made that.

Rob from plasma does great work, credit where credit is do.

The physical card itself looks cool, but the WOZ logo and type look horrible and cheap.

Did he make these out of recycled PowerMac G5 cases when he moved up to the MacPro?

Zack:
Well it is a mock-up after all, geez. Obviously the original mock-up for the card is digitally created, it also looks far nicer as an example than trying to get the actual object to photograph cleanly, as well as giving a sense of scale with the hand behind it.

As an aside, I hate the on-liner/word "omg photoshops!" posts that always crop up these days, they're useless and most of the time they're only partially right. Though it is amusing to watch people explain how fake the image is right before Apple unveils the product (like the 'obviously the screen's too wide' posts right before the iPod+video release.)

Enough already!! Please post more technology articles and less 'I love Woz/Steve, have you seen them on MTV/PBS/Disney?' articles. Its almost as bad as reading stuff about Paris Hilton! Then again I suppose if she bought Apple stock we'd be hearing about her here too.
