Apple web site features teaser shot

Is it a sunrise? A monolith? The light from an oncoming train? Whatever it is, it's now decorating the website of everyone's favorite fruit-flavored company.
Presumably we may expect big things this year from AAPL.

That looks so awesome. I expect great things, just from that.
You'd think they'd maybe put up a countdown, or at LEAST mention Macworld.

I agree, I think a new apple.com is comming soon.. the tabs are getting a little outdated.. but I think 2007 is going to be a great year for apple, im sure they've been hard at work since the last WWDC.

Maybe if/when they announce the new UI of Leopard, or when it comes out, they will change the website.

Yeah, there needs to be a redesign. Apple is expected to change their UI with leopard. With this transition, the apple web page needs to transition as well. It doesn't make sense to have a web page reflect an older version of your OS. We saw the first little bit of ajax on apple's web page with the new system specs of the nano, and the new .mac webmail client. I can't wait to see how apple changes their webpage.

Apple's got the talent, will, and cash to make things happen. I take this message as saying 2007 is gonna be a BIG year.

Has anyone noticed some SERIOUS problems with .Mac the last couple of days? We can skip the obligatory ".Mac sucks" comments. I mean, I have had some major things go out of whack and hangs and crashes on a much higher level than normal.
I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the upcoming MWSF? Maybe I'm just wishful thinking?

Who remembers what happened 10 years ago? Yes, The Steve himself came back to lead Apple. And he announced that competition between Microsoft and Apple was over. That really was the start of Apple for what it is today. So I have quite a doubt about this years MWSF.

they also have added some ajax to the Apeture page.
and i am SO exited about MWSF. my predictions are as follows
iLife and iWork '07
Leopard released
no (i,mac,ichat mobile)phone
Mac mini equivalent for MacBook maybe MacBook mini?
Mac Pro = Macbook Pro
iMac = MacBook
Mac mini = MacBook mini?
that would be interesting.

Meanwhile, microsoft.com is still sporting the usual clip-art photo of a happy business person. I guess they have yet to respond.
