Sent from my iPhone
Since today seems to be all about tiny little details of the iPhone, why not continue that trend? Blogger Paul Kedrosky shares something interesting an iPhone user told him. While composing an email the iPhone will insert the signature 'Sent from my iPhone' at the bottom of the message (I am sure you can turn this off if you like). Taking a page from Blackberry's book, Apple wants people to know that their friends are using iPhones. Now, if you want to convince people that you have an iPhone ahead of schedule simply add 'Sent from my iPhone' at the bottom of all your emails. No one will be the wiser.
Thanks, Nik (from whom I also snagged the graphic for this post).

My Treo already does this.
Somehow, it just doesn't feel the same though.
Man, Joe Brown's way ahead of you. I've been getting emails "from his iPhone" (yeah, right) for months.

thats what I would put on my iphone emails, nothing like a little self deprication
Is "self-deprication" sort of like "self-deprecation" with an extra layer of irony added?
Many "smart" phones have a similar signature built in. My SidekickIII had "Sent from my Sidekick".
Bruno is right, too bad nobody who gets emails from my smart phone ever reads the signature.
So I say BFD! Man we are frothing at the mouth at this point are we not?

(might get one, but am being irrational and waiting to actually see and play with one before I pass judgement)
Sent from my MacBook Pro.

Toa of Mac mentioned something similar last week, even went so far as to suggest: "For extra geek points, tweak your mail client to send an X-Mailer: Apple Mail (3.120.4) header." http://the.taoofmac.com/space/blog/2007/06/13/1511

Anyway, if I have an iPhone, I won't need a special signature to tell everyone I had it.
Sent from my iPhone. =P
how 'bout "Welcome to the social. Get a Mac." ?

The Blackberry signature and the iPhone signature's main purpose is to let recipients of the email know that the senders are away from their main rigs and using a mobile client. So "please don't send me any videos of squirrel launchers." In other words, be mindful of what you're sending back because of bandwidth and limited screen real-estate.
