Milwaukee, Wisc Apple Store to open this weekend
All you cheese heads in Wisconsin can drive to Milwaukee on Friday, June 29th at 6:00 PM to check out the newest Apple Store at Bayshore Town Center. The store is located in that newly expanded mall of yours. As usual, there will be T-shirts and a grand opening giveaway. If you attend, let us know!So, let's see. We've got the Milwaukee store opening this weekend. There's an Oklahoma store opening as well. Hmm, is anything else happening on the 29th? We can't think of anything off the top of our heads...

Does anyone know if there will be giveaways (t-shirts, raffles, etc.) at other stores for the iPhone launch? I'm going to the one in Legacy Village, Ohio around 4:30, and I'm hoping for a joyous and festival-like occasion.

Wait, so the store still opens at 10 AM, right? Because I have a concert that night to go to, but I want to make the grand opening. I'm pumped, thought because the one at Mayfair is 40 mintues from me instead of 20 at Milwaukee. Solid

Dammit! Why couldn't this have been the case when I actually lived there? Going all the way out to Wauwatosa (and the Mayfair Mall) to get my Mac Mini was a giant pain in the butt.

The Bayshore Mall Apple store opens at 6pm confirmed on the Apple.com site.

yeah that's pretty insane in the membrane that there isn't a madison store yet. Or even green bay? I guess all of us in milwaukee just rule more!? I guess.

Madison will get one within the next month. They have been building one at West Towne Mall for a few months now. It was reportedly going to open during the week of July 4th.

Yep, Wisconsin will have three Apple retail stores once the one on the west side of Madison opens.

Well I am buzzed! I can walk to the Bayshore store in about 5 minutes from my house. I can see myself spending a lot of time down there.....
I got an email from Apple letting me know it was going to open on Friday at 6:00pm. Interesting timing eh? Funnily I do not remember letting Apple know that I lived next door to the store. They must have caught me checking the place out during construction.... :)
Oh, and I am not a cheese head...
