Wisconsin Apple Store opens this weekend
It seems like only yesterday that a new Apple Store was opening in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (OK, so it wasn't yesterday, it was last Friday). Now, another Wisconsin store is set to open, this time in Madison.Apple Store West Towne will open on Satruday, July 7th at 10:00 AM. The store is located at 66 West Towne Mall, between Williams Sonoma and Coldwater Creek. You can get full travel directions here.

For the love of Gawd...Please put an Apple Store in Maine and/or Vermont. The NH store might as well be in Boston!!!

woot. something amazingly exciting that's not alcohol-fuled in madison! i'm totaly going. hope i'm early enough for a shirt. sure, i'll try to bring a camera too :)

curses! _another_ apple store, and south carolina has NONE. us and eff-in' mississippi don't have a store, the only two states in the southeast.

None? Do you have an apple authorized service provider and retailer? These are great, and sometimes better than the Apple stores. We have a very good one here.

Vermont is like the only state in the union w/o an Apple store coming...freaking vermont, all we got is smalldog (which is great, just not an apple store)

Wow, now maybe all the Madison-ites will stop complaining about not having one?
That being said, this is a pretty nice mall, and I can't wait to visit there again soon! I didn't know there was an Apple Store coming there...

there are some mac re-sellers in the greenville-spartanburg area, the apple store locater shows two independent store and a comp-usa. these are 1.5-2 hours away from columbia, sc. i don't know if they carry macs in-store or order them for customers.
charleston sc has resellers listed, but i don't know what they do, there's on called "guitar center." columbia, the capitol of the state has nada. the apple locater lists a closed store as the sole mac place. #9, i'd kill for a smalldog store.

Guitar Center sounds like the chain that basically sells musical instruments and equipment. Their main reason for selling Macs seems to be because they can run music software. The nearest one to me had three machines on display.
