Nice store but i feel a bit cheated with there management,I had inquired when the iPOD TOUCH would be on sale and was told the 28th September.
I was in Glasgow on the 21st when to my horror they had been put on sale, and sold out.
Apple are to greedy and should have waited to give everyone a chance of buying one on the official release date.

Wandered in at about 4pm and it was still pretty busy. Lots of glass and a bit too minimalist for my liking but it works well as a showroom for Apple kit.
Seriously underwhelmed at viewing a YouTube video via AppleTV on an HT TV! What on earth are Apple thinking about? It makes it so bad looking.

I walked straight in to the store at 10:30am on the big opening day to cheers and a wee white box Yipee I got the free tee-shirt, although disappointed as it displayed 'Buchanan street' in the middle with a very small apple. Anyhow, the store is class and can't wait to go to some workshops.

I arrived outside the Store at about 6.45am and joined the steadily growing queue. The time seemed to fly by quickly and soon everyone was flooding forward through the doors. It was an amazing experience! I brought my Newton MessagePad 2000 with me and showed it to alot of people who were interested. It was good fun comparing it to someone's iPhone!

I guess it's "Glasgow, UK" if you live someplace like San Francisco, North America.

Finally able to get an apple new style keyboard- i like the wireless payment that was class. Will be a valuable addition to Glasgow - it's the only thing this great city missed. Finally Scotsys is going to get the kicking they deserve!

I wasn't there from the start so missed out on craic while waiting for the store to open - glad that everyone who queued for 9.00am enjoyed it.

at 6.30pm walked straight in and despite it still being busy was able to play around with the new iMac (better in white)and a MBP (if only I had some spare cash)so all was good

until I started to really look at the place - there seems to be an awful lot of empty space and the range of peripherals is rather limited - after about 5 minutes it felt like a garage sale at the end of the day with nothimg left I wanted to buy. And after reputedly spending over £1million the only conclusion I could come to is glass is extremely expensive and could relace diamonds as a girl's best friend.

After anticpating for months about the store opening, I felt a bit underwhelemed by the place, which is a shame as I still get a tingle every time I go into one of the American stores.
