Found Footage: "I fell in love at the Apple Store"

Here's an earworm for you; hip-hop group FattySpins recorded a love song to ladies and to all things Apple, and filmed the video (above) at the landmark Apple Store Fifth Avenue.

The song manages to not only encompass a lot of Apple products in its lyrics, but also manages to poke some good fun at Microsoft. I mean, you've gotta love lyrics like:
"I know how to treat you – this ain't a reboot
I'll never find the need to Control ALT Delete you
I see no reason to mess with these slobs
Cause they're like Bill Gates... and I'm Steve Jobs
"
The Apple Store Love Song was written and produced by Ray William Johnson, the likable nebbish with the glasses in the video. There's no word on whether or not Apple is going to hire him to produce catchy viral raps for future ads.

I don't want to sound old or anything, but that's not hip-hop...

Is it indicative of how good something is when you feel embarassed for that person, even when they're not actually with you?

Why anyone would think this is fake is beyond me. It would take a hell of a lot more effort to green screen than it would to just go into the Apple Store. Plus, the RAW footage has been linked in the comments.

I think this is totally creative and fun. Definitely amateur, but that is what makes it cool. It is funny and smart and took effort. I would love to see the things all the people dissing the video are doing? What have you done?

All that aside, I loved that the chord or the pad being used in the song was the Start Up Chime chord.

I thought the song was clever but my attention was actually fixated on the Apple store customer over Mr. Johnson's right shoulder. I was waiting for him to pull an iBottle out of his iBag.

the song was going "okay" until he said "itouch"...

if he loved Apple, he wouldn't pronounce their products wrong.

Maybe this will be as popular as their other hit "Doin' Ur Mom" and "Muppet Sex".
