Apple Secures Second Place in Global Brand Rankings

According to the annual survey by brand consultancy Interbrand, which ranks the world’s most valuable brands, Apple has secured the second position, trailing only behind Coca-Cola.

This marks a significant rise for Apple, which was ranked eighth just a year ago in 2011.

The tech giant has surpassed several major corporations such as Intel, McDonald’s, GE, Google, Microsoft, and IBM to claim its current spot.

Looking further back to 2009, Apple has made a remarkable climb of 18 places over the span of three years.

The latest figures from the survey estimate Apple’s brand value at approximately $76.5 billion.
