Vehicle Collides with Apple Store in Chicago Suburb

On a recent Sunday evening around 6:30 PM, a vehicle incident occurred at the Lincoln Park Apple Store in Chicago, where a dark Lincoln Town Car, driven by an elderly driver, penetrated the glass facade of the store. The vehicle halted approximately five feet inside the premises, close to a display of headphones and other accessories, as reported by The Chicago Tribune.

Initially, it was reported that there were no injuries; however, paramedics were summoned back to the scene to attend to a person who needed hospitalization.

The motive behind the crash remains unclear, but it does not seem to be an attempt at a “smash and grab” robbery. This incident took place just half an hour before the store was scheduled to close for the day.

It is currently uncertain if the store will remain closed today due to the damages.
