Leading Shows Drive the Momentum

Several standout shows helped secure the nominations. “Slow Horses” leads with four nominations, while “Severance” follows with three.

These series continue to attract critical acclaim. For instance, “Slow Horses” earned recognition in writing, editing, sound, and makeup. Meanwhile, “Severance” received nominations for direction and technical excellence.

Other nominated titles include “Pluribus,” “The Studio,” and “Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age.” In addition, documentaries and factual programs such as “Vietnam: The War that Changed America” also gained attention.

Strong Presence in International Categories

Apple TV+ has shown particular strength in international awards. In fact, half of the nominees in the International category come from Apple’s lineup.

This achievement highlights the global appeal of its content. Moreover, it reflects Apple’s strategy to produce high-quality shows that resonate with audiences worldwide.

At the same time, individual performances have also been recognized. Actors like Taron Egerton and Fehinti Balogun received nominations, further boosting the platform’s profile.

A Growing Trend of Success

Apple’s nomination count has steadily increased over recent years. The platform earned 13 nominations in both 2024 and 2025. This year’s total of 15 shows clear progress.

Consequently, Apple TV+ continues to compete with established streaming giants. Its focus on premium storytelling and strong production values appears to be paying off.

What Comes Next

The Bafta Television Craft Awards will take place on April 26, 2026. Shortly after, the main Television Awards ceremony will follow on May 10.

These events will determine whether Apple converts nominations into wins. However, regardless of the outcome, the nominations already signal a major achievement.

Overall, Apple TV+ has strengthened its position as a serious contender in the global streaming landscape.
