Apple’s latest iOS 27 developer beta has revealed references to six unreleased iPhone models, offering fresh clues about the company’s future hardware plans. The code includes internal codenames linked by previous reports to the iPhone 18 family and Apple’s long-rumored foldable iPhone.
Interestingly, the references appear within code related to battery usage. Existing iPhone models also appear in the same section, which strengthens the possibility that these entries represent hardware under development.
However, Apple has not officially confirmed the product names or their release plans.
iPhone 18 and iPhone Fold Among Possible Devices
The six internal codenames reportedly correspond to several anticipated models. V62 has been linked to the iPhone Air 2, while V63 and V64 reportedly represent the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. Meanwhile, V67 has been associated with the standard iPhone 18.
Perhaps the most interesting entry is V68, which previous reports connect to the expected iPhone Fold. Finally, V69 reportedly refers to the more affordable iPhone 18e.
Each codename has surfaced in earlier reporting. However, the source notes that the complete lineup had not previously appeared together in this way.
Not Every iPhone May Arrive in 2026
The discovery does not mean Apple will introduce all six devices at the same event. Code references can reveal products under development, but they cannot confirm whether or when those devices will reach consumers.
Current reports cited in the document suggest Apple could change its traditional iPhone launch schedule. The company may introduce the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max in September 2026. Reports also suggest the iPhone Fold could debut alongside them.
Meanwhile, Apple may hold the remaining iPhone 18 models until spring 2027.
For now, the beta discovery provides one of the clearest signs yet of a broad iPhone lineup in development. Still, Apple’s official announcements will determine which models actually launch and when.
