Apple Music Hall will welcome Elton John for its first concert on September 28, 2026. The performance launches a diverse opening program at Apple’s new live music venue in London.
Apple Music has announced eight artists for shows running through early December. The schedule follows the recent unveiling of the venue at Battersea Power Station.
Elton John Opens the New Venue
Elton John will take the stage first on September 28. However, tickets for his concert will only go on sale that morning.
Apple will also begin selling tickets that day for the next two concerts. Baby Keem performs on October 2, while Skye Newman follows on October 7.
The first three shows will open their doors at 6 p.m. local time. Meanwhile, the listed ticket price is £40, or about $53, for each concert.
Eight Artists Join the Opening Program
After the first three performances, Troye Sivan will appear on October 13. Arlo Parks follows on October 22, while Burna Boy performs on October 29.
Later, Chase & Status will take the stage on November 26. Finally, Charli XCX will close the announced opening schedule on December 2.
The lineup covers several musical styles and generations. As a result, Apple Music Hall will begin operations with a broad range of performers rather than focusing on one genre.
Apple Music Hall Combines Intimacy and Technology
The new hall seats 600 people, allowing musicians to perform in a relatively intimate setting. However, Apple has also equipped the space with advanced production technology.
Its facilities support audio, Spatial Audio, video production and live streaming. Moreover, artists can create broadcast-quality recordings while performing at the venue.
Elton John also shares a long history with Apple Music. He became one of the early DJs on Beats 1 when Apple launched the streaming radio station in 2015. Therefore, his selection as the hall’s opening performer creates a link between Apple Music’s early years and its latest live music venture.
