Apple has released a broad Creator Studio update that strengthens its tools for video, images and productivity. The release brings changes across almost every app in the collection.

The update gives creators more control over iPhone 18 Pro footage. Meanwhile, Pixelmator Pro, Keynote, Pages, Numbers and Freeform also gain new capabilities.

Final Cut Pro Gains iPhone 18 Pro Controls

Final Cut Pro and Motion on Mac can now apply Cinematic mode effects to video captured natively on iPhone 18 Pro. More importantly, Final Cut Pro lets editors adjust focus points and depth of field directly within the timeline.

As a result, creators can make key visual decisions after recording instead of relying entirely on settings chosen during filming.

Compressor also gains useful workflow improvements. It can convert footage using the new Cinematic effects into the previous Cinematic mode format. Additionally, Apple has added HEVC and MPEG-4 export presets aimed at social media sharing.

Pixelmator Pro Improves Image Selection

Pixelmator Pro for iPad now includes Select and Mask controls. These tools help users refine difficult selections around detailed areas such as hair and fur.

Moreover, Apple has added new sports, business and podcast artwork templates to Pixelmator Pro on Mac and iPad.

The improvements should make the app more flexible for creators who work across photography, graphics and digital content.

iWork and Freeform Receive New Features

Apple has also expanded its productivity tools. Keynote can now use Apple Intelligence to generate images for presentations. Meanwhile, Keynote, Pages and Numbers offer new templates and themes.

All three apps now let users request access to shared files. Pages for Mac adds a Screen View for reading and writing. Numbers also gains new trigonometry, statistics and logic functions.

Freeform boards now adapt to Dark Mode and support folders for better organization. Furthermore, Apple Intelligence Writing Tools can rewrite, proofread and summarize handwritten notes.

Apple Creator Studio costs $12.99 monthly or $129 annually, with a one-month trial for new users. Education plans cost $2.99 per month or $29.99 per year.
