Apple may bring a major artificial intelligence upgrade to its next Apple TV 4K. New code found in tvOS 27.2 beta 3 adds further evidence that Apple Intelligence could reach the streaming device.
The discovery follows earlier clues found in tvOS 27 code in June 2026. That software also suggested Apple was preparing Siri AI support for a future Apple TV model.

However, Apple has not officially announced the next-generation Apple TV 4K or confirmed these AI features.
tvOS 27.2 Code Points to Apple Intelligence
Apple released the third developer beta of tvOS 27.2 on Monday. The Settings app code contains direct references to Apple’s foundation models.
One description asks users to help improve those models and Siri by sharing text and audio interactions. The data could come from Siri, Dictation and Translate usage.
Meanwhile, the beta contains a new Siri Messages interface framework. According to the source, this framework could support Smart Replies for messages received through a linked iPhone. Siri AI may also gain the ability to read messages from a connected device.
More Powerful Hardware Could Support Siri AI
A previous code leak suggested Apple could equip the new Apple TV 4K with an A19 or A19 Pro chip. Moreover, the upgraded device could offer 8GB or 12GB of RAM.
That would represent a significant increase from the 6GB reportedly found in the current 2022 model. More memory and faster processing could help support advanced AI features directly on the device.
Apple may also introduce a redesigned Siri Remote. However, the source says it remains unclear whether Apple will add Ultra Wideband or Find My support.
October Launch Remains a Rumor
Rumors currently point to an October 13 event for the next Apple TV 4K. Still, Apple has not confirmed that launch timing.
