Encode PSP Compatible Movies with Ffmpeg X
Ffmpeg X now features a PSP preset for encoding your videos to a format compatible with the new hot portable gaming
system. They even have a handy tutorial with all the dos
and don’ts of PSP video conversion. If you already own a copy of Ffmpeg
X ($15 shareware), then this may be all you need to get your PSP up and running.
I downloaded the demo of iPSP to give it a shot, and it is a pretty slick all-in-one PSP media managing app. I’m
going to try to get my hands on a copy of PSPware as well and give you all a report in several days on which one of
these programs works the best for Mac to PSP syncing.
Now, I just need to get a larger Memory Stick. The included 32MB stick is a bit limiting…

CK,
Don't forget to check out Newegg. My DSC-T3 takes the MS Pro Duo. I got a 512 for a decent price a few months ago.

PSPWare is nice. I registered yesterday after my PSP purchase. Does what it claims to do. Simple, nice app.

I personally like PSPWare more than iPSP. I use altshiva and ffmpegX to encode MP4s and YadeX to copy VOB files from DVDs.

I prefer iPSP. I've been using it since I bought my PSP a few months ago. ffmpegX is a great tool which I highly reccomend to anyone doing any transcoding, but it is not a PSP manager.
