Make Firefox more like Safari
This may solve a few of the issues Laurie has with Firefox. Hicksdesign points to a Firefox extension that makes the tabs in Firefox look and behave more like the tabs in Safari. Hicks also includes a few hacks to the extension: one's a fix to hide the old tab-bar close button, another to tweak the position of the close button, and another to get rid of favicons in the tabs. Cool.UPDATE: Even better, download the Safarish theme, use it with the extension that Hicks mentions and include his hacks to the extension.

Or, alternatively, just use Camino.

"Hicksdesign points to a Firefox extension that makes the tabs in Firefox look and behave more like the tabs in Safari."<--that's the "This" and the link is the "Read" link at the bottom of the post.

I don't get it. Why not just use Safari (or Safari RSS for that matter from April 29!

Hi, Alister, although I would love to just use Safari, as Laurie mentioned elsewhere, our backend isn't yet fully Safari compatible / Safari isn't yet fuly compatible with our backend.

Alister - as we've mentioned in the past, the backend of this blog is running on software that is not yet compatible with Safari so we have no choice but to use Firefox in order to post.

um... *what* may solve Laurie's issues with FF? I see a link to Laurie's rant, a link to a theme... but what does the first word of the post ("this") refer to?
