A Cure for the iTunes 4.8 Error 400 Blues
Apple has posted a new document on the 400 error that some iTunes 4.8 users have been experiencing when trying to access the iTunes Music Store. They not only acknowledge the error, but provide a nice solution. It would appear that there are a few unneeded or corrupt cookies in iTunes that are causing the error. Follow the instructions for removing them and you'll be right as rain.

Incredibly grateful for this - I couldn't find that page in Apple's Support website, despite searching for pretty much every combination of the words "iTunes music store error 400" that I could think of.

Safari does its thing (loads the phobos address and then takes me back to the previous page), but itunes doesn't open/take me to the store. It does work with other browsers, however. Anyone know a solution? should i try deleting cookies for apple.com?
