Here's another widget that I'd dare categorize as "useful." The Google maps widget works much like the Google maps webpage, in that it provides a very clean way to view maps and satellite photos of locations in the US, UK and Canada. Navigate maps in the widget by zooming in and out or scrolling left or right. Pretty nice.Holding the Command key (aka the Apple key) and pressing Tab will cycle through your open applications. It's easier to Cmd-Tab if you are Copy (Cmd-C) and Pasting (Cmd-V) to and from various applications.

I have trouble getting it to show an address, even giving it an exact address and zip code

YES, I just found out about this yesterday and I am soo happy. Google Maps is great, especially when I am looking for a specific address and I need to use the satellite view. Probably the only widget in my collection that gets the most attention.

I was a die-hard MapQuest user until someone introduced me to GoogleMaps. I switched right there and then. You cannot top how clean and uncluttered their maps look.

Within the last hour or so (6:30p IN time), Google added detailed coverage of all of Indiana. I can see my house now!
