Thunderbird updated to version 1.0.5
Following hot on the heels of the Firefox update, Mozilla has also updated Thunderbird, their acclaimed email client, to verion 1.0.5Thunderbird 1.0.5 is a security and stability update that is part of Mozilla's ongoing program to provide a safe Internet experience for their customers. They recommend that all users upgrade to this latest version, and so do I. As a matter fact, if you don't download the new version before midnight (ET), you will turn into a frog.

What do you mean "free home email servers"? Exactly what is that? I'm running an email server at home, which I don't pay for (free), and it works fine with Thunderbird. In fact, there's no difference between my own email server and the "pay" ones lol.

It is nothing like Firefox. It's just riding it's coat tails. Not only that but the forums are censored. When I posted my question on why Thunderbird would not work with free home servers, my messages got deleted. They censor anything that makes Thunderbird look less than perfect. Thunderbird is not ready and there are far better e-mail clients available that are faster, don't crash, and work with free home e-mail servers. Say NO to Thunderbird!
