Big Fat Stinking Software's screen savers
I love screen savers. I used to love the show "The Screen Savers," before G4 killed it off. Now I'm content to settle with nifty little savers across my machines... Well Big Fat Stinking Software has you covered when it comes to offbeat savers created using Quartz Composer. Feeling funky? Try the Evil Monkey clock (from TV's "Family Guy"). There's a hilarious Mr. Sparkle saver, plus a very handy RSS saver that crawls the feed up your screen ala "Star Wars." And then there's my favorite: Steve's Clock. Who wouldn't want Jobs standing there in his trademark outfit pointing out the time to you all day? The only way to make that one better is if, on each hour, he shouted inspirational sayings at you like, "A great carpenter isn't going to use lousy wood for the back of a cabinet, even though nobody's going to see it." [Folklore.org] For added fun, be sure to check out the little QuickTime sample of the Foxfire saver... It tells time in the browser even! Magic.

I though Attack of the Show was the exact same thing with a different name.

Well attack of the show was the same as "the screen savers" as it was under g4, but once g4 took over T.S.S. they basicly fired every1 except for kevin rose (who was only there cuz of his contract, which he had to fight to break).

The Screen Savers had a better format than Attack of the Show does now. Sarah and Kevin weren't fired, but Alex and everybody else (Yoshi) who was great. Now, Kevin Rose is gone (He was my favorite because he was more knolageable in tech than games) and now we are left with the other Kevin and Sarah (Sarah seems to be turning into a mini-version of Kevin P..
