Burton Audex Cargo Jacket is wearable wireless
Burton's at it again and Motorola is helping them out. The Audex Cargo Jacket not only features built in iPod controls, but it's now phone friendly too! It's Bluetooth-enabled with a Caller ID screen and voice dialing on the sleeve and speakers and a microphone in the hood. Yes, I'm serious. You can pre-order yours now and they are expected to ship by the end of November. Despite the anticipated $599 price tag, it's quite likely these will be sold out before Christmas, much like the AMP Jacket and AMP Pack were.

Anyone having problems playing their Nano with the jacket?
January 02 2006 at 7:39 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyThis jacket is amazing i saw them today at buckmans and fell in love with it. i admit i would not pay 600 for it but when the price goes down to about 350 i will be the first in line. how would you loose friends because your playing music? i think you would gain more friends b/c everyone wants to be around you. cant wait to get mine!

December 12 2005 at 11:16 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI just got home from the Portland Ski Expo and had the chance to test out the jacket with my bluetooth phone and ipod. All I can say is, WOW! Sound quality is great and from the looks of the whole system it seems solid and not somthing that will break the first time you wreck snowboarding. The ipod functions are not as easy to navigate as the accual ipod interface but still works well. Big ups to burton and moto for releasing such a sick jacket.

"Ohh, there goes ______, he's been wearing that jacket every day for as long as I've known him, eeeeewwww." If you see what I mean.
October 28 2005 at 9:18 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI love Burton. I have 3 of their boards, about 6 sets of bindings, several pairs of boots, various jackets, pairs of snowboard pants, etc...All amazing products. However, I think this is a bit over the top.
